Abu Dhabi, March 23 (Petra) – UAE air defence systems intercepted seven ballistic missiles and 16 drones launched from Iran on Monday, according to the Ministry of Defence.
Citing data reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the ministry said that since the start of the Iranian attacks, UAE defences have intercepted a total of 352 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,789 drones.
The attacks have resulted in the deaths of two members of the armed forces and six civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationalities, in addition to 161 people injured with varying degrees of severity.
