London, March 17 (Petra) — British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper told Parliament that the UK is discussing with international partners the possibility of forming a global coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz and restore commercial shipping, emphasizing that these efforts are separate from the ongoing military conflict.
The minister said London is consulting with European allies, including Germany, Italy, and France, as well as the United States and Gulf countries, to ensure the swift resumption of commercial navigation.
