Ukraine: Eight Killed in Russian Attacks

Kyiv, June 10 (QNA) – Ukrainian authorities said on Tuesday that eight people were killed and more than 40 others wounded in Russian strikes across Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched a total of 166 long-range drones and two missiles overnight, adding that 146 of the drones were intercepted.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian officials reported that three people had been killed and 21 others injured, including three children, in two separate Russian attacks.

Since the war began on Feb. 24, 2022, both Moscow and Kyiv have issued near-daily reports on battlefield developments and damage in affected areas. However, the ongoing conflict and the nature of the fighting have made it difficult to independently verify the accuracy of many of those claims. (QNA)
