New York, February 11 (Petra) — UN Secretary-General Ant?nio Guterres issued a warning on Tuesday regarding the potential consequences of resuming fighting in Gaza.
In a statement, Guterres discussed the critical need to “avoid a resumption of hostilities in Gaza that could result in a massive tragedy.”
He urged the conflicting sides to uphold their commitments under the ceasefire agreement and to recommence serious negotiations in Doha for the second phase of peace talks.
