Geneva, June 05 (QNA) – HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Friday with HE Undersecretary of Labour of the Republic of the Philippines, Jainal T. Rasul Jr. on the sidelines of the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference currently taking place in Geneva.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines in labour sector fields and discussed ways to support and further strengthen them.
Her Excellency also met with Head of the Middle East and North Africa Region at the World Economic Forum, Kelsey Goodman.
Discussion during the meeting, addressed a host of topics of mutual interest. The two sides also discussed ways to develop cooperation between the State of Qatar and the World Economic Forum in the Future of Jobs Program and related fields, in a manner that supports efforts aimed at developing the working environment and strengthening partnerships with international organisations.
