New York, June 17 (QNA) – Major US stock indexes opened higher on Wednesday, buoyed by a rebound in semiconductor stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 11.12 points, or 0.02 percent, to 52,010.79.

The S&P 500 gained 8.44 points, or 0.11 percent, to 7,519.79.

The Nasdaq Composite advanced 113.22 points, or 0.43 percent, to 26,489.56. (QNA)
