Amman, Jan. 29 (Petra) – Minister of Youth and Chairman of the Youth Technical Committee supporting the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council, Yazan Shdeifat, emphasized the importance of strengthening Arab youth work according to their visions to align with their aspirations and ambitions.
The minister gave his remarks during his chairing of the committee’s meeting on Wednesday, organized by the Youth and Sports Department of the Arab League in Iraq, attended by Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, as well as committee members and experts.
The meeting discussed the Arab youth programs and activities for 2025, presented by the Ministries of Youth and Sports in Arab countries, with recommendations to be submitted to the Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council for approval.
The meeting also addressed Jordan’s hosting of the Arab Capitals Youth Meeting, under the theme: “Arab Youth Forum: Youth and Economic Empowerment in light of Contemporary Changes,” scheduled for October.
This meeting is part of Minister Shdeifat participation in the 48th session of the Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports Council and the 71st session of its Executive Bureau, in addition to the meetings of the supporting technical committees.
