Zarqa University president, Kuwaiti Namaa Charity delegation discuss collaboration 

Zarqa, Jan. 6 (Petra) – Nidal Al Ramahi, President of Zarqa University, met Monday with a delegation from the Kuwaiti Namaa Charity, led by CEO Saad Marzouq Al-Otaibi and Projects Director Khaled Al-Shamri, to discuss and enhance collaboration between the two parties.

During the meeting, attended by Dean of Admissions Khalid Zayadeen, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Amjad Al Safoure, and faculty members Mohammed Uneizat and Wael Al-Sharaa, Al Ramahi emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with sister countries through hosting Arab and international institutions and signing agreements that bolster the university’s regional standing.

He highlighted the university’s commitment to building relationships with local and international institutions to exchange academic and research expertise, ultimately benefiting the local community.

Al Ramahi noted the university’s dedication to scientific research as a cornerstone of its academic mission, offering a supportive research environment, allocating necessary resources, and fostering partnerships with research institutions. He also emphasized the importance of equipping students with academic and professional skills through advanced programs aligned with labor market demands and specialized training workshops.

Al Safoure added that his faculty focuses on equipping students to tackle the challenges of modern media through practical training and workshops. These programs aim to prepare students for careers in digital journalism and creative content production, enhancing their readiness to contribute to the media sector.

The Namaa Charity delegation praised Zarqa University’s efforts to adopt modern technology and provide education that meets contemporary needs. Al-Otaibi emphasized that investing in the scientific and professional training of youth is an investment in a brighter future, stressing the role of strategic partnerships in fostering creativity and innovation among future generations.

At the conclusion of the visit, Al Ramahi presented the delegation with a university shield as a token of appreciation for their efforts and fruitful collaboration.
