Muscat, January 8 (Petra) – Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi underscored the solid and historical ties between Oman and Jordan, describing them as “rooted in mutual trust and respect.”
Speaking at a media briefing in Muscat, Al Busaidi emphasized that these deeply entrenched relations have materialized into fruitful cooperation and partnerships across various sectors. He highlighted the successes achieved through educational exchanges, including Omani students studying in Jordan, as well as the contributions of Jordanian professionals to Oman’s development in education and construction.
Expressing gratitude and appreciation, Al Busaidi commended the shared bond between the two nations and their peoples, noting the vital role such cooperation plays in strengthening ties.
The minister also called attention to the necessity of enhanced joint Arab coordination on pressing regional issues, including the Palestinian cause and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
