During these meetings, the minister reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to sharing its agricultural expertise with brotherly and friendly countries, aiming to develop sustainable and productive African agriculture.

Discussions involved ministers from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Angola, and Eswatini, who expressed their countries’ desire to draw on Morocco’s experience in productivity development, mainly through the modernization of agricultural practices. 

The government official also engaged with counterparts from Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Uganda, and Rwanda. During these talks, he reviewed Morocco’s experience in irrigation, as well as the production and use of fertilzers, highlighting the achievements made by the Kingdom under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI in water resource management, particularly in the field of dam policies.

More than 2,000 participants took part in this summit, organized by the African Union Commission, including heads of state, government officials, representatives from the private sector and civil society, as well as experts and scientists.
