Oman to Host World Military Beach Volleyball Championship 2026Muscat, 15 October 2026 (ONA) — The
Sultanate of Oman will host the World Military Beach Volleyball Championship
“Muscat 2026”, set to begin tomorrow, Friday 16 October 2026.
Oman will be represented at the
tournament by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Command. Teams of 8 countries
will contest the championship, which will run until 22 October.
The championship will take place at
the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, as part of the programme of the
International Military Sports Council—known as Conseil International du Sport
Militaire (CISM). The CISM, an organization that comprises more than 140
nations, seeks to foster athletic competition, consolidate bonds of friendship
and promote peace among armed forces of its member states.
