During a meeting with Morocco’s Ambassador to Italy, Youssef Balla, the Italian minister highlighted the Kingdom’s geostrategic position and regional expertise in supporting the Mattei Plan.
He also reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to ensuring the success of this ambitious initiative for Africa’s development.
Speaking on this occasion, Ambassador Balla underscored Morocco’s central role in Mediterranean institutions under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The Moroccan diplomat also emphasized the Kingdom’s dedication to promoting stability, cooperation, and sustainable development in the region, working closely with its partners, including Italy.
During the meeting, the two officials also discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Rabat and Rome, with a particular focus on parliamentary cooperation and Morocco’s active role in the Mediterranean region.
