During the meeting, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen Moroccan-German cooperation in the social sector.
Following the talks, Kofler praised the “excellent and extensive” relations between Morocco and Germany, emphasizing their “highly dynamic” bilateral partnership across multiple areas of common interest.
In a statement to MAP, she highlighted the active collaboration between the two countries in key sectors such as energy transition, economic development, and social protection, noting that their shared commitment to gender equality is a major pillar of their cooperation.
Kofler also underscored the strong ties of friendship and the stability of the partnership between Morocco and Germany, which provide a solid foundation for further joint projects.
For her part, Ben Yahya commended the quality of relations between the two nations, pointing out Germany’s strong interest in Morocco’s initiatives and progress on major social issues.
She also stressed that Moroccan-German cooperation is long-standing and well-structured, particularly in areas such as gender equality, women’s economic empowerment, support for civil society, and the development of networks dedicated to these causes.
