Amman, Dec. 27 (Petra) – The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on its official website that weather radar images indicate continued heavy rainfall during the night hours over wide areas of northern and central parts of the Kingdom, warning of the formation of flash floods.
The JMD urged citizens to stay away from flood channels and not to risk crossing areas where rainwater has accumulated in order to preserve public safety.
