Port Sudan, Jan. 9, 2026 (SUNA) -The Sudanese Armed Forces today reviewed military operations over the past week, reporting that 240 combat vehicles of the RSF militia were destroyed and that hundreds of militia members were killed in operations against the gangs and mercenaries of the Dagalo family. These outcomes confirm beyond any doubt that the rebellious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia did not act independently in planning this major criminal conspiracy, but followed a coordinated strategy aimed at undermining state authority, seizing control of the government, and prolonging civilian displacement.The Sudanese government possesses substantial evidence of external involvement -most notably by the government of Abu Dhabi- in directing, financing, and supplying this criminal militia.
