Port Sudan, Jan. 15, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir, met on Thursday with a delegation from the visiting Turkish Humanitarian Relief Organization, headed by the Deputy Director-General and Head of Foreign Relations, Mr. Emre Kaya.Dr. Nuwara affirmed the government’s commitment to cooperating and coordinating with all humanitarian organizations and facilitating their work in Sudan, enabling them to achieve their objectives.In a press statement, the Deputy Director-General of the organization clarified that the meeting is held within the framework of developing bilateral relations and coordinating humanitarian programmes across all parts of Sudan, highlighting the organization’s support and solidarity with the Sudanese people.He praised the significant cooperation and attention demonstrated by the TSC member and her commitment to facilitating the delegation’s mission in the country.AS/BH
