Khartoum, January 25, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met on Friday evening with Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Professor Ismat Gurashi to review the progress of the current agricultural season and discuss measures to remove the challenges facing the sector.The meeting addressed the outcomes of workshops on the future use of artificial intelligence in agriculture, in addition to ongoing efforts to protect the environment.The two sides stressed the importance of securing the Acacia (Sunut) Forest and working to restore it to a better state than before, so that it becomes greener and more attractive as a tourism destination.BH/BH
