Khartoum, Jan. 28, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General (Police) Babiker Samra Mustafa, on Wednesday met with Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam, who also chairs the Committee for the Rehabilitation of Stadiums and Sports Grounds in Khartoum State. The meeting was attended by Director-General of Police Forces General (Police) Amir Abdel Moneim Fadl and members of the committee.Professor Adam outlined the committee’s efforts to rehabilitate and maintain sports stadiums and grounds across Khartoum State, with active participation from the public, the sports sector, and security forces. He highlighted the imminent resumption of sports through the elite league, contributing to a conducive environment for citizens and the normalization of daily life.Minister Samra expressed full support for the committee’s work, emphasizing that sports serve as a bridge for communication and reflect the security and stability in the capital.
