Beirut, February 19 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces have continued their attacks on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese state media.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli forces on Thursday fired five artillery shells at the Marjayoun plain toward the town of Khiam, coinciding with machine-gun fire launched from a newly established position on El Hamames Hill toward the plain.
Israeli artillery also shelled the outskirts of the town of Yaroun with heavy-caliber rounds, the sound of which was heard across several southern areas.
Earlier today, Israeli forces carried out the demolition of a house in Wadi Al-Asafir, while another unit conducted an explosion on the southern outskirts of Yaroun. Israeli warplanes also launched an airstrike on Tebna in the Sidon district. No casualties or material damage have been reported. (QNA)
