QCB Issues QAR 2.5 Billion of Government Bonds

Doha, February 24 (QNA) – Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued today government bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance worth QAR 2.5 billion.

A statement from QCB said that the issuance varied in maturities as follows: QAR 1.25 billion tap issuance due on Sep. 3, 2028 with a 4.1 percent yield, and another QAR 1.25 billion tap issuance that matures on Aug. 24, 2030 with a 4.1 percent yield.

QCB said in a post on X that the total bids for the bonds were QAR 4.4 billion. (QNA)
