Doha, March 05 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose 92.70 points, or 0.88%, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching 10,681 points compared with the previous session’s close.
Market data showed gains across most sectors, led by Banks and Financial Services (1.44%), Telecoms (1.24%), Transportation (0.81%), Consumer Goods and Services (0.60%), Real Estate (0.53%), and Insurance (0.22%). The Industrials sector was the only decliner, falling 0.47%.
By 10:00 am, turnover reached QR 109.367 million, with 48.278 million shares with 6,321 transactions executed. (QNA)
