Khartoum, March 8, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Mutasim Ahmed Saleh announced an agreement with Darfur Region Governor Minni Arko Minnawi to coordinate the provision of relief for displaced persons (IDPs) in the region and create livelihood opportunities for them.Speaking to reporters following a meeting with the Darfur Region Governor at the ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum on Sunday, the minister said the discussions also addressed training opportunities for Sudanese university students in Darfur as well as displaced students.Minister Saleh described the provision of employment opportunities for displaced persons and citizens as an important priority.BH/BH
