Khartoum, March 9, 2026 (SUNA) – The Office of Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has denied the accuracy of reports circulated by some media outlets regarding a government plan to reopen the zoo in Al-Mogran area and import animals from South Sudan and Uganda.In a statement issued on Monday, the Prime Minister’s Office clarified that these claims are baseless, stressing that the circulated information is inaccurate.The statement called on media organizations to adhere to professional standards in reporting, exercise caution, and rely on official and credible sources when disseminating information.The Prime Minister’s Office also reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a positive partnership with all media outlets, noting that communication channels with media institutions will remain open for accessing information from official sources.BH/BH
