Khartoum, March 10, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during which they discussed developments in the region in light of the ongoing war in the Middle East.TSC President Al-Burhan declared Sudan’s support for Turkey following the “Iranian aggression” against its territory.He reaffirmed Sudan’s solidarity—government and people—with Turkey and its brotherly people in confronting the assault aimed at violating its sovereignty and security, pointing to the close relations of cooperation between Sudan and Turkey across various fields.For his part, President Erdoğan expressed his appreciation and gratitude to TSC President Al-Burhan for the call and for Sudan’s solidarity with Turkey following the recent attacks it had faced.
