Khartoum, 25-3-2026 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has directed efforts to enhance and expand cooperation between Sudan and Algeria to serve the mutual interests of the two brotherly peoples and countries.The remarks came during a Wednesday meeting at his office in Khartoum with Sudan’s Ambassador to Algeria, Abdel Hafiz Al-Awad, on the occasion of his farewell prior to assuming his new post, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim.The meeting reviewed the trajectory of bilateral relations between Khartoum and Algiers and explored ways to support and develop cooperation across all sectors to achieve shared aspirations.BH/BH
