Khartoum, March 29, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim, on Sunday took part in the 165th ordinary session of the Arab League Council ministerial meeting, held via videoconference.During the meeting, which addressed Iran’s violations of the sovereignty of certain Arab states, the Minister affirmed Sudan’s solidarity with the affected governments and peoples, underscoring Sudan’s steadfast commitment to supporting Arab national security in accordance with all relevant Arab and international charters and treaties.He also called for a renewal of Arab strategic concepts, particularly regarding Arab national security, and highlighted Sudan’s role as a bulwark against extremist and militant infiltration into Arab and African regions—a role that he said requires collective support and reinforcement.BH/BH
