European stocks open higher amid Mideast truce optimism

Amman, May 19 (Petra) – European stock markets opened slightly higher

the Middle East, despite persistent inflationary pressures driven by
rising oil prices and interest rates.

France’s CAC 40 index rose 0.33% to surpass the 8,000-point level,
reaching 8,014.75 points, while Germany’s DAX index gained 0.52%.
