Amman, May 20 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended
Wednesday’s session with total trading volume of JD18 million, as 5.1
million shares changed hands through 4,568 transactions.
The general stock price index edged up 0.09 percent to close at 3,978
points, compared with the previous performance.
The industrial and services sectors’ indexes rose 0.85% and 0.07%,
while the financial index slipped 0.13 percent.
Of 102 companies traded during the session, 32 posted share price
gains, while 27others declined.
