Amman, May 21 (Petra)– The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates
Affairs condemned the bombing that occurred near a building
affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense in the Syrian capital,
Damascus.
The ministry’s official spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali,
affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with the government and people of
the Syrian Arab Republic, stressing the Kingdom’s rejection of all
forms of violence and terrorism targeting security and stability.
Al-Majali reiterated Jordan’s firm support for Syria’s security,
stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its
citizens.
He also expressed his sincere condolences to the government and
people of Syria, as well as to the family of the victim, wishing a
speedy recovery to those injured.
