Slight Drop in Temperatures Thursday, Pleasant Weather to Continue Through Weekend

Amman, May 28 (Petra)– Temperatures are expected to drop slightly on
Thursday, bringing pleasant weather conditions across most regions of
Jordan, while conditions will remain moderate in the Jordan Valley,
the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, clouds will appear
at various altitudes, while northwesterly moderate winds will
occasionally become active, stirring dust particularly in desert
areas.

The pleasant conditions are forecast to continue on Friday across
most parts of the Kingdom, with moderate weather prevailing in the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Low-altitude clouds are also expected, accompanied by moderate
northwesterly winds that may become active at times and cause dust in
desert regions.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, with
moderate weather forecast in most regions and relatively hot
conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will
remain moderate northwesterly.

Similar conditions are expected on Sunday, with moderate temperatures
across most areas and relatively hot weather continuing in the Badia,
the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by moderate
northwesterly winds.

Temperatures in East Amman on Thursday are forecast to range between
27 C and 15 C, while West Amman will record 25 C to 13 C. Northern
highlands are expected to see temperatures between 22 C and 12 C,
while the Sharah Highlands will range from 21 C to 11 C.

Temperatures in the Badia regions are forecast at 32 C during the day
and 16 C at night, while the plains will record 26 C to 14 C.
Northern Jordan Valley areas will see temperatures between 32 C and
18 C, while southern Jordan Valley areas will range from 34 C to 21
C.

The Dead Sea is expected to record temperatures between 33 C and 20
C, while Aqaba will see temperatures ranging from 34 C to 21 C.
