Amman, June 6 (Petra) – The South Amman Police Directorate said on
Saturday an armed man entered a private social center in Husban in
the Na’ur district of Amman, and opened fire, killing his wife, who
worked at the facility, and two other employees, the Public Security
Directorate (PSD) said.
The shooter was found dead of a gunshot wound, whose source is
currently under investigation, the PSD media spokesperson said in an
update. He said the center was not affiliated with the Ministry of
Social Development.
Initial investigations revealed that a family dispute was behind the
crime, he said, adding that the bodies were sent to the forensic
department and investigations are underway.
