Beirut, June 6 (Petra) – Two Israeli drone strikes in southern
Lebanon on Saturday killed three people and injured four others in
the towns of Kaskiya, in the Sidon district and Mayadin, in the Tyre
district.
A Lebanese security source said that members of a rescue team
sustained minor injuries while searching for casualties following an
initial strike on the town of Ansariya. The Israeli army later
carried out a second strike on the same area.
The source added that Israeli warplanes and drones have been
conducting a series of airstrikes since Saturday morning, targeting
towns and villages across southern Lebanon and the Western Bekaa
Valley.
