Kuwait City, July 08 (QNA) – Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the country’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain on Wednesday, considering them a flagrant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
In a statement, the ministry said Kuwait categorically rejects the attacks, warning that they represent a dangerous escalation that could undermine regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation and reducing tensions. It stressed the need to respect international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s steadfast support for the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its full backing for any measures the country takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. (QNA)
