Israeli Occupation Arrests 11 Palestinians, Tightens Military Measures Across West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, September 22 (QNA) – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday 11 Palestinian civilians in various areas across the West Bank.
WAFA news agency said that the IOF arrested three Palestinians south of Jenin and another in the town of Beit Ummar. They also raided homes west of Al-Khalil City.
In the town of Tamun, the IOF arrested a Palestinian man along with his daughter, another Palestinian in Nablus, and two others in Tulkarm and Anata.
The IOF arrested a Palestinian from the town of Yatta, south of Al-Khalil, following an attack by colonists on Palestinian homes in the area, while also arresting another young man from Anata.
In a related context, the IOF stormed the towns of Allar and Saida and the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarm, intercepted Palestinian vehicles, and detained a number of young Palestinians, subjecting them to field interrogations.
These incursions are part of operations carried out by Israeli occupation across various parts of the West Bank, ranging from raiding and searching homes to arresting and detaining Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the colonist attacks in the West Bank are escalating, as the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) documented more than 1,600 colonist attacks resulting in injuries or property damage between January and August 2026. (QNA)
