PDO Celebrates Graduation of 30
Job Seekers from Digital Innovation Programme

Muscat, 22 Sep 2026 (ONA) — Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) today
celebrated the graduation of 30 job seekers from the Digital Innovation Programme
2026, an intensive eight-week training programme aimed at developing digital
skills and enhancing the readiness of Omani talent to enter the labour market.

The programme was implemented from 2 August to 22 September
2026, providing more than 5,000 training hours through an intensive training
model with the participation of more than 40 trainers specialized in technical
fields.

The programme also enabled participants to gain practical
experience, obtain professional certifications, and familiarize themselves with
the latest technologies through interaction with a group of leading technology
companies.

The Digital Innovation Programme represents an evolution in the
approach adopted within job seeker training programmes, moving towards a model
more closely aligned with sector needs, combining technical training with
practical challenges, innovation, and professional development.

The programme aimed to prepare a generation of qualified Omani
digital talent to join the labour market, in line with the changing
requirements of the market.

The programme was implemented in
cooperation with a number of specialized technology companies and institutions,
including Bahwan CyberTek, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, SAP, Decoil, and Inspire,
with these partnerships contributing to providing diverse expertise in
technical fields and digital transformation.
