Gaza, October 17 (QNA) – A Palestinian was killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike in north-eastern Gaza City on Saturday morning, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The strike was carried out by an Israeli drone on the Tuffah neighbourhood, the sources said.
The identity of the victim has not yet been established.
Meanwhile, heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles was reported south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, while eastern areas of Gaza City came under Israeli artillery fire.
The developments come despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that took effect in October last year.
Despite the deal, Israeli forces have continued to carry out air strikes, artillery shelling and gunfire in various parts of the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
