Gaza, October 11 (QNA) – Eight Palestinians were wounded Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that six people were shot by occupation forces in the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, two others—including a pregnant woman—were wounded by direct fire from occupation vehicles targeting displaced persons’ tents near the Al-Shuja’iya junction, east of Gaza City.
In a related development, occupation artillery continues to target areas east of Khan Yunis, while occupation forces are carrying out demolition operations east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.
Despite the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel entering into force last October, Israeli occupation forces continue to violate it through airstrikes, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeting various areas of the Strip. (QNA)
