Ahmed Al Harthy Secures Second Place in American Endurance RaceTexas, 8 Sep (ONA) — International racer Ahmed Al Harthy achieved second place in the “America” race in Texas, as part of the sixth round of the World Endurance Championship (GT3 category), marking a significant accomplishment in one of the championship’s most challenging events.Al Harthy competed alongside his teammates, Italian Valentino Rossi and South African Kelvin van der Linde, in the BMW M4 car number 46. The trio completed the six-hour race under volatile weather conditions that alternated between heavy rain and dry spells.Torrential rainfall led to a 35-minute suspension of the race. Despite starting from 16th position, the team advanced through the ranks to cross the finish line in third place. A penalty imposed on a competing team subsequently elevated Al Harthy and his teammates to second place officially.With this achievement, the team added 18 points to their tally, bringing their total to 40 points in the category standings.
