Amman, July 6 (Petra) — Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh met on Monday
with José Luis Pardo Cuerdo, Spanish Ambassador to Jordan, to discuss
cooperation prospects and joint initiatives.
They talked about deepening municipal ties between Amman and
Barcelona as well as other Spanish municipalities.
Shawarbeh presented Amman’s development plans and projects aimed at
improving public services in the capital.
Emphasizing the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Spain, the
mayor mentioned Amman’s focus on building stronger, mutually
beneficial partnerships.
Cuerdo, for his part, commended the municipality’s urban and cultural
development, lauding its efforts to upgrade infrastructure and
improve resident services.
