Amman, July 6 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a
total turnover of JD9.7 million on Monday, with 4.9 million shares
changing hands through 3,213 contracts.
The general index closed at 3,858 points, up 0.17 percent. The
industrial sector rose 0.71 percent, the financial sector increased
0.27 percent, while the services sector declined 0.44 percent.
A total of 94 listed companies traded during the session. Share
prices of 31 companies rose, 31 declined, while the remaining
companies closed unchanged.
