Army Chief, Security agency heads visit injured National Service recruits, offer condolences to families of deceased

Amman, Sept 12 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major
General Majdi Al Harasis, accompanied by heads of security agencies
and senior Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army officers, visited injured
national service recruits on Saturday.

The recruits are undergoing treatment following a traffic accident
involving the bus that was transporting them back to their homes in
the south of the Kingdom.

They visited injured recruits at Al-Hussein Medical Center, Prince
Ali bin Al-Hussein Military Hospital, and Al-Karak Government
Hospital to check on their condition, and were briefed by medical
staff on the treatment stages, and the care being provided.

The Army Chief directed that the injured receive the best medical
care until their recovery, stressing that the General Command has
been following up on their condition since the accident occurred with
a commitment to providing all necessary care.

Al Harasis and the security agency heads and senior army officers
also offered their condolences and sympathies to the families and
relatives of the national service recruits who lost their lives in
the accident.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff pledged the Armed Forces’
support for the families of the deceased and commitment to attending
to their needs.
