Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on
Monday continued medical evacuations of sick children from the Gaza
Strip, evacuating the 32nd group under the Jordanian Medical Corridor
initiative, in implementation of royal directives.

The latest group comprised eight sick children accompanied by eight
family members. They were transported to Jordan to receive treatment
and medical care at several Jordanian hospitals, reflecting Jordan’s
continued efforts to deploy its medical and humanitarian resources to
ease the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, particularly
children in need of specialized care.

Since the evacuation operations began in March 2025, the JAF, in
coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health
Organization (WHO), has continued to transport patients in accordance
with approved health procedures and standards, ensuring that medical
cases reach the kingdom and receive the necessary care.

The continuation of the Jordanian Medical Corridor comes amid
extremely difficult humanitarian and health conditions in the Gaza
Strip, underscoring Jordan’s commitment to supporting Palestinians
and standing by those most in need by providing available treatment
and medical care to cases requiring intervention outside the enclave.

The efforts reflect Jordan’s humanitarian and medical role, under the
leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting
Palestinians and strengthening the humanitarian and medical response
to their suffering. They also reaffirm the kingdom’s consistent
approach of assisting and caring for patients and the injured,
particularly children.
