Amman, Mar. 29 (Petra) — The Eastern Military Zone thwarted two attempts early Sunday to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics across its front using electronically guided balloons.
Border Guard units successfully detected the smuggling attempts through surveillance operations and engaged them in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized materials have been handed over to the relevant authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
