Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD11.1 million Thursday, with 7.4 million shares changing
hands through 5,561 contracts.
The general index rose 0.32 percent to close at 4,124 points.
Of the 108 companies traded, 52 posted share price gains and 28
recorded declines.
By sector, the financial index rose 0.67 percent and the industrial
index gained 0.15 percent, while the services index fell 0.38
percent.
