Amman, Aug. 31 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD12.4 million Monday, with 5.7 million shares changing hands
through 4,386 transactions.
The general index fell to 4,000 points, down 0.2 percent.
The industrial sector index dropped 1.08 percent, financial sector
eased 0.12 percent, and services rose by 0.28 percent.
Of 99 companies, 41 saw their share prices rise, 27 dropped, and the
rest were flat, compared with previous closings.
