Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general
index closed Wednesday at 4,093 points, down 0.3 percent, as the
total trading value reached JD14.3 million.
A total of 8.4 million shares changed hands through 4,585
transactions.
Witnessing broadly lower sector performance, the industrial and
services indexes declined 0.94% 0.42%, while the financial index
barely edged down 0.03%.
Of the 110 companies traded, 37 recorded gains, while 35 went down,
compared with their previous closing prices.
