Amman, July 19 (Petra) – Total trading value on the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) reached JD16.2 million on Sunday, as 5 million shares
were traded through 5,374 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,897 points, down 0.57
percent, compared with the last session.
At the sector level, the services and industrial indexes fell 2.02%
and 1.07%, respectively, while the financial benchamrk rose 0.27%.
Of the 93 companies traded, 25 recorded share price gains, while 40
declined, compared with their previous closing prices.
