Amman, July 2 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index
fell 1.23 percent on Thursday, closing at 3,806 points.
Turnover reached JD16 million, with 6.3 million shares traded through
4,557 transactions.
All sector indices declined. The industrial index fell 2.40 percent,
the services index dropped 1.34 percent, and the financial index
decreased 0.75 percent.
Of the 95 companies traded, 28 recorded share-price gains and 42
posted declines.
