Amman, July 29 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD16.2 million on Wednesday, as 7.7 million shares were
traded through 5,310 transactions.
The ASE General Index rose 0.53 percent to 3,978 points, compared
with the last session.
Of the 101 companies whose shares were traded, 35 recorded gains, and
39 went down, compared with their previous closing prices.
At the sector level, the industrial and financial indexes rose 1.52%
and 0.67, respectively, while the services benchmark declined 0.56%.
