Amman, April 20 (Petra) — Total trading value on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD17.1 million on Monday, with 4.9 million shares traded through 3,255 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,818 points, up 0.39%.
Sector performance was mixed. The services index rose 1.07%, and the financial sector gained 0.24%, while the industrial sector declined 0.19%.
Of the 96 companies on the index, 39 posted gains, 26 recorded losses, and the rest were unchanged
